An Engagement to Remember

My friend, Ren, got engaged to her long time partner, John and I was really happy that I've been a part of their happiness.

The surprise engagement happened at KKK Cubao where my friend, Maro, is one of the managers.

I made a Tiffany and Co. inspired cake for their Engagement Cake. So sweet! I love it! :)

This ABS-CBN series, "Be Careful With My Heart", has been one of the "KILIG" series I ever watched. It's been years since the last time I hugged a pillow just to express my "KILIG" feeling.

This is a a story about a simple girl Maya De La Rosa (Jodi Sta. Maria) who journeys to the big city to follow her dreams to become a flight stewardess to help her family. She would allow no one to stop her, not even the handsome, wealthy widower Richard Lim (Richard Yap), who threatens to ruin her dreams.

Ironically, Richard is her last hope in reaching her dreams because of his influence in the Airline Industry and he will only help Maya if she agrees to become his children’s temporary nanny.

Maya succumbs to the condition. But upon entering the Lim Mansion, she finds herself involved in the private lives of Richard and his three problematic children Luke (Jerome Ponce), Nikki (Janella Salvador) and Abigail (Mutya Orquia).

Maya sees that there are problems to be solved in the Lim family because since Richard’s wife died, the family’s joy died with her. And so Maya took it upon herself to bridge Richard to his children. And eventually, she succeeds in rebuilding the Lim family.

However, in repairing their broken hearts, Maya encounters bigger challenges that will test her strength and will challenge even her own heart. Because she falls in love with the kids and with Richard himself.

Entrance to Penshoppe FanCon 2012 is free for every single-receipt purchase made at Penshoppe and exchanged for SM tickets from September 1 to 23, 2012 or until passes last.

Participating Penshoppe stores are those located at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Ayala Trinoma, SM North Edsa (Main Mall), SM Pampanga, SM Baguio, SM Lucena, SM Batangas, SM Cebu, SM Iloilo, SM Davao and SM Cagayan De Oro.

For every single receipt purchase worth P800 (general admission), P1,200 (Upper Box), P2,500 (lower box), P3,500 (Patron) up to P5,000 (VIP front seats), customers must request for a temporary FanCon voucher made valid once signed by the store manager. Customer must then present the temporary pass to any SM Tickets (www.smtickets.com)branch nationwide in exchange for the actual FanCon ticket.

Tickets can be redeemed within the promo period (Sept 1-23). They are transferable but are not for sale and are not convertible to cash.
